Wed, 28 January 2009 Herein, electronic music with rather minimal rhythmpatterns are crossed with spheric ambience, in different moods, different slopes and different colours. The listener is able to find warm ambient pieces like ′warm night lullaby′ by transient or more dubbed out ambience with zen savauges ′sunken streetlights′. You can lose yourself in the organic cycles of boris heizmann′s ′azure′ or drift along with ′scrap of truth′ by selffish. But if you feel like enjoying some darker felt material then you′d like to explore the realms of sgnl_fltr’s chamber dub in ′all form′ by or listening to the crickets resting in kenneth kirschner’s ‘june 8, 2003 (excerpt)’. Generally said, if you’re interested in the contemporary minimal electronics of 2005 you’ll definately find the one or other piece within this compilation that will suit you fine.

Fri, 9 January 2009 Minimal is sometimes more then just less. During work, I love to have minimal music in the background to get concentrated by my work. This 9 tracks exactly does this, to get concentrated and creative.
Krill.minima is the exotic ambient project of martin juhls from dortmund germany. Besides his housy clickdub moniker "falter" and his orchestral works as "marsen jules", his project "krill.minima" is about the idea of mixing warmness, emotions and pop-appeal with exotic and experimental sounds, modern soundhack, clicking rhythms and ambient constructions. [Text original from Thinner Netlabel]
Falter, strong delayed, but now finally out is the "taumelflug ep" by falter from dortmund, germany. "taumelflug 1" is a dramatic heavy bassline dubber in best traum context, which contantly keeps floating ahead the ground of mother nature. "zum nektar und zurück" symbolizes the daily duty needs of a butterfly - to fly and get the nectar out of the flower - and to return home. light melodies plus yellow chords , calm and infinitely delayed beats and a syncopic bassline reconstruct the dangerous flight of a falter, always so close of getting caught and eaten by a bigger bird. "taumelflug 2" is a dark and profound process of the metamorphosis from a green caterpillar to a yellow butterfly in the later part of the song, once the familiar light pads fade in. enjoy! Das Karftfuttermischwerk does a great job and the style sounds as they are. I'm happy to take the two great tracks from the album "Coleoptera" released on another Netlabel as usualy called "A quiet bump". Check it out there.
Laura Palmer, presented at Thinner Netlabel has some mystic elements in her music with nice intensive bass notes. Simply great.
Benfay as many time heard here on my podcasts, are one of my favored artists. It includes funky beats combined with the smooth style of cords. Just enjoy it as I do...

Fri, 2 January 2009 Happy new year all listener. Time for some more P9 Podcasts and at first I'll take you to a dub session with Sensual Physics and Digitalverein. Sensual Physics let you zooming into a piece of fractal art, you will get deeper and deeper into the tracks which include soft pieces of chaotic elements being more or less sussed out. listening more intently and analytically, the mind starts recognizing each sound being distinct from the other ones such as in "garden of apples", and when it begins putting the pieces back together again, it surprisingly finds that none of these tracks sounds exactly the same way the others did.
Upcoming there are planed some more casts for you. I've created Podcast 35-37 allready and will be published soon. Stay tuned...

Fri, 21 March 2008 Back from vacation in Thailand. The two weeks was absolutly relaxing. We went to Krabi and Phi Phi Island. Krabi is still the sensual Thailand with relaxing beaches in Ko Lanta. Only a few resorts and the rest only backpaker bungalows. For all that love the original Thailand, Ko Lanta must be a must for you.
I had a lot of time to listen to ambient stuff and found again some new nice tracks from Scan Tec, Abysall Plains, Brioskj and Introspective. Aditional to the Khavi stuff, I heard about a new Album at the Spacemusic Podcast from TC, It calls "Treasure" and the artists are David Helpling and Jon Jenkins. I have added a preview in the podcast, but check out the Album at this Link.

Thu, 2 August 2007 Long time ago was it of the last P9 Podcast. Summer time, alot of work to do, a new love and finally vacation in Crete. That's the reason for the long delay.
Maybe something about my trip to Crete. Lounge fealing on the beautyfull hotels around Elounda with the great chill-out Bars directly on the shore. It was absolutely great, because during the night, the temperature doesn't go much deaper as it is during the day. We don't have this clima in Europe and that's why it is so special and meditarian for us. I really enjoy it there and for the first time in Greek, I suddenly would go back right away. Maybe you too? Check it out and have a chilly trip on that great island.
Some new tracks digged on Kahvi that reflect the time on vacation. May you can feel the breeze from Crete by listening to the tracks. Have a great summer.

Thu, 24 May 2007 Finally I got a new MAC at home to produce the next podcast. Searching arround and find P9 like ambient stuff takes a little bit time and what I found is just the right style.
Arrial, Randomajestiq, Sesual physics, sektor all found on Thinner and Kahvi and they are a little bit older, but fits great into. Hopefully you also enjoy the silent tracks.
The summer is allready here and the tracks in the alps to walk on and look arround with the great flowers that comes back from winter is really enjoyable. Some good pictures landed in my camera and brought to the picture for this podcast.

Tue, 10 April 2007 Mosaik is back with a new album - «Apologies» on Kahvi Netlabel. I really like the style Mosaik is producing. Starting with the earlier song «Papilio» and «Loell». Two tracks that I used on the beginning of producing podcasts.
Following on from the first release on kahvi, «Apologies» features those good, solid beats, subtle nuances and influences and just plain great listening like we're used to. Some excellent works and one that I`ll be putting on my permanent playlist for sure.

Todays Podcast is bunched with great songs from Workbench, Acrilic Colors, Aaron Jasinski and URL. Smoothy, loungy and chilly for cool moments you will have. Let me know your comments about this episode under http://www.p9-podcast.net. I really would appreciate it. Take care...

Fri, 2 February 2007 Many feedbacks arrived me, to continue with the style of P9-Podcast. Here we go, I webed arround and I finally found the new album from Workbench. When I started with podcasting, workbench with their album «Detour» was my favorite sound and inspired me to produce this kind of podcast.
Now Workbench is back with their new album called «Zoo» and it is absolutely great. Each song has that special chill in it. The best song: «de la terre a la cime» for twenty minutes of the coolest ambient chill.

Sun, 10 December 2006 Elephants dream is the worlds first open movie, made entirely with open source graphics software such as Blender, and with all production files freely available to use however you please, under a Creative Commons license. The short film was created by the Orange Open Movie Project studio in Amsterdam during 2005/2006, bringing together a diverse team of artists and developers from all over the world.
I have found this movie, when I was searching for good ambient sound and the artist Jan Morgenstern has done his work for this movie. An excelent artist with another excelent track called "Days of the departed".
Kahvi and Thinner/Autoplate has released tracks from great artists like Fernando Lagreca and Brioskj. This episode is covered with music from this two artists. Really great music that fits into the style of the P9-Podcast. Enjoy...

Sun, 12 November 2006 A new guest artist visits Kahvi - Mataya, who goes down in history as being the very first artist to feature on Kahvi who hails from Macedonia. Interesting influences of style and flair are apparent in this electronic masterpiece, semi-commercialisms erupt in a couple of the tracks but this crossover between west and eastern borders makes for an interesting listen. Mellow, chilled, ambient with a touch of melodic IDM. Because of this great artist, I added all of the tracks in a special episode of the 20th P9-Podcast. Enjoy...
